Instrumental Biography
Born in 1990, Luca Sozio earned his flute diploma at the F. A. Bonporti Conservatory in Trento (Riva del Garda), studying with Pier Luigi Maestri. He later completed a Master's-level Academic Diploma at the C. Pollini Conservatory in Padua under Claudio Montafia. His international training includes studies with Leon Berendse and Edith Van Dyck at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and admission to the Master of Arts programme at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland.

He pursued advanced studies with internationally renowned teachers including Michele Marasco, Pirmin Grehl, Robert Winn, Rien de Reede, Paolo Taballione and Andrea Oliva. As a chamber musician, he received an award at the seventh Città di Piove di Sacco National Music Performance Competition.
An active concert performer, he has appeared as a soloist with Orchestra del '700, the Camerata Accademica of the Padua Conservatory and Nova Symphonia Patavina. His orchestral collaborations include the Venice Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra San Marco di Pordenone, Gaga Symphony Orchestra and Camerata Musicale di Arco, with performances at venues such as Teatro Verdi in Padua and the Basilica dei Frari in Venice. He has also appeared at events including Nacht van de Kunsten in the Netherlands and concerts organised by the Società Filarmonica di Trento e Rovereto, and recorded for the Velut Luna label in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in the United States.

Active as a soloist and guest musician with orchestras and chamber ensembles in Italy and abroad.
